At Bind, fashion is social—a unique expression of your identify and how we connect with and empower one another. We also believe fashion should be socially responsible and that informs our decisions about the materials and processes we use, where and how we produce, and the global efforts we support.

Bind’s Spring Summer 2011 collection is inspired by rich materials, from waxed cotton, derived from 17th century sailors who dipped their sailcloth in wax—so light, vintage, romantically-rugged, and incredibly resilient, to the lush Supima modal in our tees and tee dresses, so soft and caressing, to the lightest of denims from Japan with a striking red selvedge. Each piece is timeless and unique and all so unmistakably Bind.


Trace Cohen and Sabrina Riddle are the creative duo behind Bind bringing their unique point of view to Bind’s designs.

Trace leads digital for a global advertizing agency and has designed the online experiences for many global brands such as Levi's, Napster and Singapore Airlines. Bind is her path back to the physical aspects of design, a way to engage with fabric and materials rather than pixels and monitors. Growing up in South Africa with school uniforms a staple, her approach to fashion embraces 'basics' with a modern twist. Yoga (the root is Yug meaning to bind), photography and art collecting are creative passions that inspire her designs.

An avid cultural-scanner, Sabrina fuses her love for the arts, media and culture with fashion, creating classic looks with hint of attitude, always focused on making you feel incredible, both in how they look on and how they fit. Sabrina was recognized by 7x7 Magazine as one of San Francisco's Style Council for influencing the definition of the area’s fashion style and has received wide acclaim for her interior design at Orson, a restaurant, bar and lounge in San Francisco. Serving and giving back to the community is paramount for Sabrina. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
